NH NongHyup Bank signs contract to handle overseas remittances for military pensions

NH NongHyup Bank said on Tuesday it signed an outsourcing agreement with the Armed Forces Financial Management Agency for overseas remittance services for military pensions at its headquarters in central Seoul. Under the agreement, the bank will provide overseas remittance services to ensure stable pension payments to military pension recipients living abroad. It plans to strengthen military-related financial services following its selection as the dedicated bank for the service.

GoPro unveils GP3 custom chip with cinema-grade performance

GoPro has unveiled GP3, a custom video-processing system-on-chip it described as its most powerful to date, and plans to use it in a next-generation camera lineup. The 5-nanometer chip more than doubles pixel processing versus GP2 and is set to debut in new products due in the second quarter of 2026. Could AI-driven deflation push bitcoin to $11 million? Joe Burnett (조 버넷) of bitcoin investment firm Strive says AI-led “technological deflation” could extend central banks’ easy monetary policy and expand liquidity, lifting bitcoin to $11 million by the first quarter of 2036. The outlook assumes global wealth grows 7 percent a year on a compound basis and bitcoin reaches about 12 percent of global financial assets, implying a $230 trillion market value.
