NH NongHyup Capital to speed AI and non-face-to-face shift on digital results

NH NongHyup Capital said on Sunday it plans to fully pursue an expansion of customer-centric non-face-to-face services and an AI transition in 2026. It said it improved mobile app and web UI and UX, unified the NH Financial super-platform authentication system and expanded use of public and financial MyData. The company said internal capability efforts increased DT-Master certified staff by 40 percent year on year and it will expand generative AI use in stages.

KOSPI hits intraday record high on leaders' strength near 4,640

South Korea's KOSPI rises on Jan. 12, extending gains on a positive U.S. lead as leading stocks strengthen and the index sets a fresh intraday record. Individuals and institutions are net buyers, while foreigners are net sellers in both the main board and KOSPI 200 futures. Chipmakers Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix advance. Nuclear-power and Hyundai Motor Group-related shares also rise. The Kosdaq trades higher.

AsicLand adds contract with Primemas for CXL 3.2 chiplet development

AsicLand said on Monday it expanded its contract with Primemas to develop a next-generation chiplet system-on-chip to 9.5 billion won. It extended the contract period to enhance technical specifications and ensure product completeness. The Falcon-1 chipset will include CXL 3.2 and a chiplet interface, and is part of Primemas' chiplet-based SoC platform Hublet. AsicLand will handle backend design, testing and tape-out work.
