Wrtn Technologies said on Tuesday it will officially sponsor the ColdFusion team, which has advanced to the finals of the international hacking competition DEF CON 34 CTF.

The DEF CON finals will be held on Aug. 6 in Las Vegas in the United States. A total of 686 teams worldwide took part in this year's qualifier. ColdFusion ranked third in the 48-hour online qualifier, advancing to the finals where the top 12 teams will compete.

ColdFusion is made up of security specialists from domestic AI and security companies including Wrtn and from Korea University, Pohang University of Science and Technology, Kyung Hee University and Dankook University. Security researchers at Wrtn are also participating as team members.

Wrtn will provide the ColdFusion team with product credits for its WrtnAX LLM Router and uniforms.

WrtnAX LLM Router automatically allocates suitable AI models based on a user's intent and cost and performance priorities. It supports frontier models and high-performance open-source models in API form.

Han Seung-woo (한승우), Wrtn's chief information officer and chief technology officer, said, "We have continued to strengthen our security capabilities," adding, "We will continue efforts to enhance our security technology, including support for this competition."
