KOSPI reclaims 5,640 level on sole institutional buying; Kosdaq surges over 3 percent
South Korean shares ended higher on March 25, with the KOSPI rising more than 1 percent to reclaim the 5,640 level as institutions were the only net buyers. The benchmark closed up 88.29 points at 5,642.21 after briefly topping 5,700 early in the session. The Kosdaq surged 3.40 percent to 1,159.55. The won finished weaker at 1,499.7 per dollar.

Baek Kyung-hoon visits Korea Aerospace Administration to check K-Moonshot progress
Deputy Prime Minister and Science and ICT Minister Baek Kyung-hoon (배경훈) visited the Korea Aerospace Administration in Sacheon, South Gyeongsang Province, on March 25 to review major pending issues and check progress on the K-Moonshot project. The agency reported its 2026 implementation plan, including a low-Earth-orbit satellite communications network and the status of an organizational innovation advisory committee. Baek also reviewed progress on a space data centre demonstration project and met younger staff to hear difficulties.

Lionheart Studio rolls out job-specific advanced AI training for employees
Lionheart Studio said on Tuesday it has conducted advanced artificial intelligence training for employees, tailored by job function. The programme is an advanced course following AI practical training held in October last year, and ran for about three months from January in a mix of online and offline formats. It covered practical curricula for roles such as planning and tech, and included hands-on work with AI tools including Claude and Gemini.
