Lido's 2025 revenue falls 23 percent on outflows and lower yields

Ethereum-based liquid staking protocol Lido’s 2025 revenue fell 23 percent, The Block reported on Tuesday. Lido’s annual revenue last year was $40.5 million, a sharp drop from the previous year, driven mainly by user fund outflows and lower staking yields. Lido said structural changes in the staking market since 2024, including lower network-wide APR, capital shifting to exchanges and institutional staking and intensifying competition, reduced its market share.

Open Data Institute and SAP to launch programme for AI-ready enterprise data infrastructure

The Open Data Institute (ODI) and SAP will launch the IDEA (Interchange for Data and Enterprise AI) programme to help convert corporate data infrastructure into forms suitable for AI. The partners aim to develop open standards through research, building an independent governance system and running a community. The initiative starts from common challenges companies face, as much enterprise data is structured for human use and is hard to feed into AI systems.

Solana unveils enterprise blockchain platform with Mastercard, Western Union among participants

Solana has unveiled an AI-based blockchain platform, with Mastercard, Western Union and Worldpay joining as early participants, The Block reported on March 24. The Solana Developer Platform supports development of on-chain products including real-world asset tokenisation and payment technology. Mastercard plans to use it to expand stablecoin operations and support stablecoin payments directly on the Solana network. The platform offers APIs for tokenisation, payments and trading, and includes infrastructure partners providing custody, compliance and on-ramping.
