Apple shares fall 4 percent on report of foldable iPhone delay

Apple shares fell 4 percent on April 8 after a report said the launch of a foldable iPhone could be delayed, Nikkei Asia reported. Apple has yet to resolve engineering issues during development, a person familiar with the matter said. The foldable iPhone had been expected to debut with the iPhone 18 in September 2026, but that plan could change if the schedule slips.

Cardano whale wallets hit highest level in four months as they buy the dip

Large investors are accumulating on the Cardano (ADA) network, with the number of whale addresses holding at least 10 million ADA rising to 424, the highest in about four months. Santiment said the count is up 5.2 percent over nine weeks, signaling a shift from distribution to accumulation. ADA trades near $0.243. TapTools data showed about 4 billion ADA traded over five days and on-chain volume topping $1 billion.

XRP investors average 41% loss, selling pressure persists despite 'opportunity zone'

On-chain indicators show XRP holders are sitting on an average loss of about 41%, with the MVRV ratio falling to its lowest level since the FTX collapse, according to analysis cited by The Crypto Basic. XRP traded around $1.31, down 2.14% on the day and more than 60% below a July 2025 high. Glassnode data shows more than half of circulating supply is underwater, with daily realised losses ranging from $20 million to $110 million since November 2025.
