NH Investment & Securities to hold domestic stocks live trading competition

NH Investment & Securities said on Wednesday it will hold its first Investment Championship live trading competition. The event will run for 6 weeks from March 9 to April 17 and will be limited to a domestic stocks league. Participants can apply from Feb. 9 to March 27. The competition will be split into three leagues based on underlying asset size, with prize money awarded by league and ranking, up to 80 million won.

Korea FTC fines three sugar makers 408.3 billion won for price rigging

South Korea's Fair Trade Commission said on Feb. 12 it will impose corrective orders and total fines of 408.3 billion won on CJ CheilJedang, Samyang Corp and Daehan Sugar for colluding on B2B sugar prices. The FTC said the companies agreed and carried out coordinated price hikes and cuts from February 2021 to April last year, aligning eight price changes. It also ordered steps to prevent recurrence and reporting for three years.

Devsisters starts global pre-registration for CookieRun: Ovensmash

Devsisters said on Feb. 12 it has started global pre-registration for CookieRun: Ovensmash, a new title being developed by studio PressA. The game combines casual action based on the CookieRun IP with real-time player-versus-player battles and is set in the series’ first urban fantasy world. Pre-registration is available on Google Play and Apple’s App Store, with gold and additional milestone rewards offered.
