KB Asset Management's RISE Korea Value Up ETF net assets surpass 1 trillion won
KB Asset Management said on Wednesday that net assets of its RISE Korea Value Up ETF have exceeded 1 trillion won, the first Korea Value Up exchange-traded fund to reach that level. As of the previous day, the ETF posted returns of 39.65 percent over three months, 92.11 percent over six months and 216.67 percent over one year, according to FnGuide.

Shinhan Financial chairman Jin Ok-dong volunteers at elderly homes in Seoul for Parents' Day
Shinhan Financial Group held a volunteer event at the Gangbuk Senior Welfare Center in Seoul's Gangbuk district on May 6 to mark Parents' Day, it said on May 7. Group Chairman Jin Ok-dong and CEOs of its affiliates took part. Staff and volunteers made 334 fruit kits containing items such as oranges, apples and pears. They visited elderly households in the district to deliver the kits along with thank-you cards.

Upbit launches two digital asset indexes using on-chain data
Dunamu, operator of digital asset exchange Upbit, said on Thursday it launched 2 new on-chain data-based indexes. Upbit Data Lab introduced the Ethereum Small-cap Undervalued Index and the Ethereum Small-cap Overvalued Index, which use the MVRV indicator to gauge whether prices are above or below investors’ average on-chain purchase prices. The indexes rebalance on the 2nd of each month and exclude stablecoins, memecoins and assets with investor protection issues.
