Delos Data, a startup developing hardware for AI inference clusters, has raised more than $100 million.

SiliconANGLE reported on Wednesday that Delos Data announced the fundraising and also unveiled a network chip for AI inference clusters called the "Delos Nonstop AI Data Interface".

Matrix, Playground, Socratic Partners, Capricorn, Matter Venture Partners and IAG participated in the funding. Delos Data plans to use the money to hire engineers and expand sales.

Delos Data previously introduced its first product, the "Delos Nonstop AI Server", computing equipment optimized for inference. Customers can install up to 4 graphics cards from external suppliers.

Nonstop AI Servers can be linked to form a cluster. OSFP is used for data exchange between systems. Delos Data said the setup provides network capacity similar to Nvidia Rubin systems.

The newly unveiled Nonstop AI Data Interface is a chip used with the Nonstop AI Server. It connects servers to an inference cluster network and reduces latency by 10 times compared with rival products, Delos Data said.

Dan Daily (댄 데일리), co-founder and chief technology officer, said, "As agentic AI scales beyond a single system, performance is determined not only by processors but by how data moves between systems." He added, "A fast data interface that remains stable under load is needed."
