Ubisoft is developing "Rayman Legends Retold" not only to recreate a past hit but to relaunch the Rayman series, keeping the original feel while reorganising its development team and technology base. Producer Loic Gounon said a remake was a realistic starting point. The game replaces hand-drawn 2D visuals with 3D art, adds new levels, expanded cinematics and full voice acting. It is due on Dec. 3 for Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.

Australia’s government has identified artificial intelligence as a key force that will reshape the economy over the next 40 years, but left out cryptocurrencies and digital assets from its long-term economic outlook. The Treasury’s latest Intergenerational Report lists AI among five major shifts, alongside geopolitical conflict, ageing, the clean energy transition and a move toward services. Industry figures said the report overlooks financial infrastructure needed for AI-driven transactions, even as other government documents discuss programmable, interoperable payments.
