Kiwoom Securities awards 102 million won in scholarships to 51 university students
Kiwoom Securities has awarded scholarships to help university students from socially disadvantaged groups continue their studies. The company said it provided a total of 102 million won to 51 students. The Korea Student Aid Foundation selected 51 high-achieving students and will provide each with a 2 million won living-expense scholarship. A total of 6,475 applicants applied, a competition ratio of about 127 to 1.

Coocon posts 4.47 billion won Q1 operating profit, expands stablecoin and AI businesses
Coocon is expanding its business by positioning global payments, stablecoins and AI-based data services as its next growth drivers. First-quarter revenue fell 7.5 percent from a year earlier to 16.01 billion won, while operating profit rose 1.9 percent to 4.47 billion won. The company said it defended profitability through fee-based business expansion and cost efficiency, and plans to strengthen overseas payment links and stablecoin-based payments.

Emro unveils agentic AI supply chain solution at Gartner Supply Chain Symposium
Emro, an AI-based supply chain management software company, said on Thursday it took part in the Gartner Supply Chain Symposium & Expo and unveiled an agentic AI-based supply chain management solution. The events, held from May 4 to 20 in Orlando and Barcelona, drew about 5,000 supply chain executives and more than 180 solution companies. Emro joined for a third consecutive year with Samsung SDS.
