DeepX, Doosan Robotics to co-develop AI welding robot for nuclear plant manufacturing
DeepX and Doosan Robotics said on Monday they will jointly develop an intelligent welding robot solution to be used in manufacturing nuclear power plant equipment. The project combines vision AI and collaborative robots to recognise welding targets and paths, correct them and analyse vision and thermal imaging data gathered during welding to judge weld conditions and abnormalities. A four-party consortium including Sage and Changwon National University will integrate the technologies and conduct step-by-step verification at Doosan Enerbility sites.

Bitcoin's gains over the past three years relied heavily on a small number of sharp rally days, according to an analysis cited by CoinPost. Grayscale said Bitcoin's cumulative return of about 225 percent over three years turns into an 11 percent loss when the top 15 daily gain sessions are excluded. The top 15 days account for less than 2 percent of all trading days, it said.

Zcash seeks to cut block time to 25 seconds, rolls out NU7 testnet
Zcash has applied its next upgrade, NU7, to its testnet. The upgrade aims to cut block creation time on the mainnet to 25 seconds from 75 seconds while reducing per-block issuance to keep total daily issuance unchanged. Zcash is targeting around Nov. 5 for mainnet deployment and plans to decide on final implementation after reflecting testnet results on Oct. 20. NU7 also changes fee handling and drops support for older transaction formats and the Sprout pool.
