[Digital Today reporter Sangyeop Oh] After Digital X (formerly Korbit) made trading fees free for all tokens in its won market for 1 year, Coinone is also cutting fees to 0 percent for all tokens.

Coinone said it will switch the trading fee rate for all tokens to 0 percent from 11 a.m. on Aug. 26 until further notice.

Users can trade all tokens without fees if they issue a free-fee voucher on Coinone’s website or app. The voucher benefit lasts 30 days from the issuance date and can be reissued without eligibility or frequency limits.

The move came 2 days after Digital X made trading fees completely free for all tokens in its won market for 1 year from 9 a.m. on Aug. 24.

Digital X is applying free fees to all members without a separate application until 9 a.m. on Aug. 24, 2027. It previously said it plans to expand new products and services based on cooperation with Mirae Asset Group.

Coinone has also been broadening the scope of its fee-free policy. From Aug. 21, it also made fees free for trades using personal open application programming interface keys. By adding the new all-token free policy, it will apply fee exemptions to most users and trading methods, excluding some services.

A Coinone official said, "We made this decision to maximize practical benefits," and added, "We will continue to strengthen differentiated benefits."
