K Bank has unveiled a participatory app tech service that lets users receive cash rewards by playing games and completing missions.
K Bank said on Tuesday it launched 'Game Lounge', which brings together six app tech games.
Game Lounge is a service that provides real-time cash rewards when users complete missions while playing games. It can be used within the K Bank app without installing a separate application.
Game Lounge currently offers six games, including 'Apple Game', 'Hamster Town' and 'Perfect Goal'. Users can receive cash rewards by clearing game stages or completing specific missions.
It is also running customer participation events for each game. K Bank is holding an 'Apple King contest' for 'Apple Game' users through Aug. 9. It will pay cash ranging from 1,000 won to a maximum of 10,000 won to the top 1,000 players depending on their ranking.
Through the end of this month, it will run a 'collect game consoles' event. Users can receive a game console each time they complete three missions: agreeing to participate in the event, joining the game and sharing with friends.
During the event period, it will award a 'Nintendo Switch2' to the top 3 users who collect the most game consoles. It will also select 100 customers who collect at least 10 game consoles and give them 10,000 won worth of Naver Pay points.
A K Bank official said, "We made it possible to experience fun and benefits together in everyday life," adding, "We will continue to expand game types and participatory app tech content."
