Holders of real-world assets (RWA) on the XRP Ledger rose 25.16 percent over the past month, blockchain outlet U.Today reported on Monday.
Holders are increasing rapidly as Ripple expands XRP Ledger infrastructure to broaden adoption of tokenised assets focused on institutions.
The key point is that the tokenised asset market on the XRP Ledger is gaining momentum again. Ripple disclosed a few days ago that it made new investments in two major companies to advance XRP Ledger infrastructure. The investments were presented as steps to spur institutions to adopt tokenised assets on the blockchain.
Ripple's direction is clear. The company is continuing to expand into capital markets in line with plans to position the XRP Ledger as a major platform for institutional finance and RWA tokenisation. Infrastructure investment aimed at institutional demand and network expansion are moving forward at the same time, translating into an increase in holders.
The base of network participation is also broadening. Data showed that more than 1,000 developers and companies are currently building services on the XRP Ledger. The XRP Ledger is expanding its infrastructure to provide enterprise-grade reliability, scalability and cost-efficient transactions.
The stablecoin segment showed a different trend. While RWA holders increased sharply, the XRP Ledger's stablecoin market did not show a clear recovery. Over the same period, stablecoin market capitalisation fell 9.04 percent to $914 million.
The number of holders rose slightly. Stablecoin holding addresses increased 0.92 percent over 30 days to more than 60,240. Market capitalisation fell, but participating addresses increased. This has led to different recovery speeds for tokenised assets and the stablecoin market even within the XRP Ledger.
The trend shows that the XRP Ledger's expansion strategy is delivering results first in RWAs in the short term. By contrast, the stablecoin market is still not in a position to be seen as having entered a full-fledged rebound phase. Whether broader institutional adoption leads to actual inflows, and whether the recovery trend spreads to stablecoins as well, are expected to be the next points to watch for the XRP Ledger.
