Fintech firm SoFi said its second-quarter cryptocurrency trading revenue rose 10 percent from the previous quarter.

SoFi has also begun supporting real-time commercial payments through a corporate banking platform based on its new stablecoin, SoFiUSD, The Block reported.

According to the report, SoFi posted $134.3 million in cryptocurrency trading revenue this quarter. Net revenue, excluding $133.1 million in transaction costs, was $1.2 million, up from about $850,000 in the first quarter. Crypto accounts for a small portion of SoFi's quarterly adjusted net revenue, which hit a record $1.2 billion, but since resuming crypto trading and investment services in late 2025, SoFi has steadily expanded its digital asset features.

SoFi also continued to expand its stablecoin products. This quarter, its corporate banking platform, Big Business Banking, began processing transactions on the SoFi Exchange network, allowing commercial customers to move funds around the clock using SoFiUSD.

In May, SoFi launched SoFiUSD for members through its banking app. Users can buy, sell, hold and convert the dollar-pegged stablecoin on Ethereum and Solana. SoFi also announced plans for tokenised deposits backed by FDIC-insured deposits, cross-border remittances and an integration with the Bullish exchange for institutional clients.
