Blockchain data startup Allium raised $40 million in a Series B round led by Amplify Partners.

A recent report by The Block said Kleiner Perkins and Sequoia Ventures also participated. The round brings Allium's total funding to about $61.5 million.

Allium collects and refines on-chain data across more than 150 blockchains and standardises it, then makes it available for queries by financial institutions, developers and analytics platforms. Visa, Stripe, Coinbase and a16z Crypto are customers, and the U.S. Federal Reserve has previously cited Allium data.

Allium raised $16.5 million in a Series A round led by Sequoia Ventures in July 2024.

The round comes as the blockchain analytics sector reshapes amid a market downturn. Dune Analytics, valued at $1 billion in 2022, cut 25 percent of its staff, and Blockworks acquired Messari, which had been valued at about $300 million, for more than $10 million.
