NCSoft published its sixth sustainability management report linked to the company's key management strategy.
On June 25, NCSoft released ESG Playbook 2025, reflecting the meaning of “Next and Creative” embedded in its name and its growth direction. The report applies the latest global environmental, social and governance disclosure standards. It also secured the reliability of disclosed data through third-party verification.
NCSoft has pursued sustainability management activities tied to its management direction, including strengthening game and technology capabilities and expanding the foundation for global growth. In the report’s “Where Joy Begins” chapter, it introduced cases in which it improved game quality through expanded user communication, global testing and quality verification processes. It also included efforts to improve user experience by enhancing game accessibility and building a global-level personal information protection system.
In the “ESG Performance” chapter, it explained in detail key activities across all areas, including climate change response, human resource management, responsible technology, governance and corporate ethics.
Based on these activities, NCSoft is receiving strong results from major domestic and overseas rating agencies. It obtained AAA, the highest grade, in the “MSCI 2026 ESG assessment.” It was also included in the “2026 DJBIC Asia Pacific Index” for a third consecutive year, the only domestic game company to do so. In the Korea ESG Standards Institute’s 2025 assessment, it maintained an overall A grade for a fifth straight year.
NCSoft co-CEO Byung-moo Park (박병무) said, “NCSoft will continue to create new value for the next generation based on challenges and creativity toward the future.” He added, “We will achieve sustainable growth and trusted corporate value together.”
