Korea Exchange is launching an open recruitment drive for entry-level employees to secure talent for the capital market.

Korea Exchange said on May 18 it will begin its 2026 open recruitment process for entry-level employees from May 19. It plans to hire about 58 regular staff. After applications are submitted, candidates will go through a written test and first and second rounds of interviews, before final successful candidates are announced in September.

Recruitment will cover five fields: management, economics, law, statistics and IT. Planned hires by field are 24 in management, 17 in economics, 4 in law, 5 in statistics and 8 in IT.

There are no restrictions on educational background or major. For the written test, applicants can choose among five subjects: business administration, economics, law, statistics and IT. For applicants' convenience, the written test will be held in two locations, Seoul and Busan.

Korea Exchange will apply a blind hiring process in this year's recruitment as well. It plans to boost fairness in the recruitment process by selecting talent based on ability, excluding factors such as gender, age, school and family relations.

It will also operate a hiring target system for regional talent outside the Seoul metropolitan area. Korea Exchange plans to apply a target ratio of 25 percent to select outstanding regional talent.
