NHN KCP continued solid performance growth in the first quarter, helped by expanded transaction volume this year.
NHN KCP said in a regulatory filing on Monday that it posted first-quarter 2026 consolidated revenue of 344.9 billion won and operating profit of 13.8 billion won. Revenue rose 22.7 percent from a year earlier and operating profit climbed 26.4 percent.
Steady growth in online payments, its core business, drove the results.
Total transaction volume in the first quarter rose about 22 percent from a year earlier to 14.4 trillion won. Overseas transaction volume, led by global e-commerce and large merchants, increased 68.3 percent to 2.6 trillion won.
By business, the online payments division posted revenue of 315.0 billion won and operating profit of 14.7 billion won, up 25.2 percent and 23.5 percent from a year earlier, respectively.
An NHN KCP official said increased payments by major merchants at home and abroad, a recovery in imported car deliveries and the effect of onboarding new large platform merchants had a positive impact.
