Business data platform company Cucon said on Wednesday it has agreed to jointly develop a data-based insurance sales support platform with Han Asset Holdings, which plans and operates sales support software-as-a-service.
The cooperation aims to integrate into a single platform various functions, information and workflows required in agents' sales and customer management processes. The companies plan to combine Cucon's data API technology and Han Asset Holdings' insurance platform planning capabilities to jointly develop an agent-centric integrated support SaaS.
Cucon will be responsible for building the platform's data connectivity environment and providing technical support based on its financial data infrastructure and API integration technology. Han Asset Holdings will oversee service planning, functional architecture design, operating model development and commercialisation based on its understanding of agents' sales and customer management work.
The platform to be jointly introduced will include insurance-specialised AI trained on insurance sector history, such as changes in insurance products, along with various data-based functions. The companies stressed that this will provide a digital work environment that agents can immediately experience in the field.
The companies said they aim through the cooperation to create an environment in which agents can manage sales activities more systematically and run the entire process efficiently from customer consultation to contract signing. After the platform is developed, they plan to expand cooperation to joint operations, maintenance and marketing to build a joint business model that leads to tangible business results.
Jong-hyun Kim (김종현), CEO of Cucon, said, "This agreement is meaningful in that it has laid the foundation to provide integrated support across insurance agents' sales and customer management by combining Cucon's data API technology with Han Asset Holdings' platform planning capabilities." He added, "We will continue to expand cooperation with partners that have expertise and contribute to building a data-driven innovation ecosystem."
