Douzone Bizon signed a memorandum of understanding with global artificial intelligence coding platform company Replit and will cooperate on vibe coding-based AI development.

The companies held a signing ceremony on May 7 at Douzone Eulji Tower in Jung-gu, central Seoul, and agreed to seek an integration strategy between enterprise business solutions and an AI development platform. They also held a hackathon on automation and data analysis at Douzone Bizon’s integrated exhibition and experience space, ATEC, with 25 teams and 50 participants.

Replit is a cloud-based AI coding platform company headquartered in San Francisco. It has more than 50 million users worldwide. It provides a code editor, terminal, database and hosting in a single environment and allows one-click app deployment.

The hackathon used a vibe coding environment and was conducted in a format that completes planning through development and presentations in a single day. It served to demonstrate that non-developer roles such as sales, planning and consultants can build directly functioning apps using AI tools. The top team will receive 2 million won in gift certificates and a year of Replit Pro credits worth $2,400.

The companies will jointly run Replit platform training, workshops and hackathons for employees and partner companies. Douzone Bizon plans to use the makethon as an opportunity to make internal hackathons regular events and develop outstanding ideas into actual products and internal work tools.
