KB Financial Group said on May 3 it discussed strategic cooperation options with U.S. blockchain venture capital firm Pantera Capital at KB Kookmin Bank's headquarters on April 28.
The two sides shared trends in the global blockchain industry and reviewed potential cooperation in digital asset businesses. They also discussed ways to work together as fund investments expand, while referring to investment approaches and cooperation models.
A KB Financial official said the group plans to strengthen its digital finance competitiveness and identify new business opportunities through cooperation with global investment firms.
