Parallel Web Systems, an AI agent tools startup founded by former Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal (파라그 아그라왈), has raised $100 million in a Sequoia-led Series B round, TechCrunch reported on April 29. Parallel Web Systems was valued at $2 billion in the funding.
Existing investors Kleiner Perkins, Index Ventures, Khosla Ventures, First Round Capital, Spark Capital and Terrain Capital also participated in the round.
The investment comes 5 months after Parallel Web Systems raised a $100 million Series A round at a $740 million valuation led by Kleiner Perkins and Index Ventures.
Parallel provides a web search and research API dedicated to AI agents. Its customers include Clay, Harvey, Notion and Opendoor. Parallel said its customers also include banks and hedge funds, but it did not disclose specific names.
