Nexth said on April 29 it will join the global cooperation network Agentic AI Foundation (AAIF) to help expand artificial intelligence (AI) agent technology.

AAIF, under the Linux Foundation, is a global cooperation organisation set up to promote interoperability and standardisation for AI agent technology. More than 100 technology companies, including OpenAI, Anthropic and Google, are taking part and jointly developing open protocols and common specifications.

Nexth has formalised a partnership with Tron’s AI and payment infrastructure project B.AI. It is also upgrading an "agent gaming" model in which AI agents play directly in games and carry out payments, based on its on-chain game platform CROSS. The number of participating agents in the flagship AI agent-only survival game Multiroyal has topped 21 million.

On technology standards, it applied Coinbase’s x402 protocol, which supports AI agents’ economic activities and transactions. It then applied the on-chain standard ERC-8004, which standardises on-chain identity, permissions and transaction execution, and took part in building the ecosystem.

Nexth CEO Hyun-kuk Jang (장현국) said, "The global AI agent ecosystem will expand rapidly, and companies that take the lead and participate at an early stage will secure competitiveness in the future." He added, "Nexth is applying x402- and ERC-8004-based technology to actual services through its partnership with Tron, participation in AAIF, and the world’s first AI agent game Multiroyal."

He added, "AI agents are a new service paradigm that operates without user intervention, and an area with high growth potential." He added, "We will establish the agent gaming model centred on games as a global standard."
