[DigitalToday reporter Chi-gyu Hwang (황치규)] Binance has returned to the tokenised stock market through a partnership with Ondo Finance after two years, The Block reported on Feb. 24 (local time).
Under the partnership, shares and ETFs of major U.S. companies including Apple, Google, Tesla and Nvidia will be tokenised and traded on Binance Alpha and Binance Wallet. Binance introduced tokenised stock trading in 2021 but halted the service due to regulatory pressure. This time, it will provide Ondo Finance digital securities to Binance users through approval from Abu Dhabi’s Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The service will not be available in the United States.
Ondo Finance launched stock tokens through its own platform in September 2025. It has secured more than $550 million in total value locked and recorded cumulative trading volume of $11 billion. Jeff Li (제프 리), Binance's vice president of product, said, "The goal is to provide more diverse trading options," and added, "We will provide innovative and accessible trading opportunities through tokenised securities."
