KB Kookmin Bank said on Feb. 12 it held a graduation ceremony a day earlier at its new building in Yeouido for the RaonAtti 25th overseas volunteer group of university students.
RaonAtti is a pure Korean word meaning "joyful friends" and is KB Kookmin Bank's overseas volunteer group for university students, launched in 2008. A total of 833 young people have participated so far, practicing the values of global sharing and inclusion.
Members of the 25th cohort attended the ceremony and shared results from their three-week overseas volunteer activities.
The group was dispatched to 3 Asian countries, including Vietnam, Indonesia and Thailand, to carry out locally tailored volunteer activities. They planned and ran programs reflecting local demand across areas including climate, education and culture, continuing their global sharing activities.
A KB Kookmin Bank official said, "We will continue to expand various programs to put the values of sharing and inclusion into practice."
