Crypto infrastructure firm Zerohash will support the Monad blockchain and Monad-based USD Coin (USDC), The Block reported on Feb. 11.

It is a move to expand stablecoin payments after being valued at $1 billion.

The integration will allow Zerohash clients such as Kalshi, Gusto and Public to build stablecoin-based payments without operating their own blockchain infrastructure or securing separate regulatory licences. It supports use cases including real-time account top-ups, cross-border remittances, business-to-business settlements and on-chain commerce.

Raj Parekh (라지 파레크), head of stablecoin and payments at the Monad Foundation, said Monad is "fast and stable" and stressed it can support broader stablecoin payments and everyday use through "near real-time transaction finality".

Mark Daly (마크 데일리), Zerohash's chief business officer, said Monad's technical characteristics can support faster and more cost-efficient stablecoin transactions at scale.

Zerohash plans to support additional stablecoins on Monad in the future.
