Hecto Financial can expect overseas sales via Circle CPN, KB Securities says

KB Securities said in a report on Monday that Hecto Financial can "expect explosive overseas sales via Circle (USDC) CPN (Circle Payments Network)." It also said 2026 is expected to be the first year in which Hecto Financial's corporate value is fully re-rated.

Kim Hyun-gyeom (김현겸), an analyst at KB Securities, forecast that earnings would be driven by growth in global business revenue from simple cash payments, including account-based payments, and an expansion of overseas merchants.

He said attention is needed because a virtuous cycle is forming in which an expanding customer base for overseas B2B settlement services based on a foreign exchange settlement licence also increases the number of companies using account-based payments through cross-selling effects.

On the company's listing as an official CPN partner, Kim said Hecto Financial was listed on Feb. 3 as an official partner of Circle's CPN, the first among domestic companies, with Circle being the issuer of the global stablecoin USDC. He said this goes beyond a simple partnership, meaning it has been recognised for technical integration of stablecoin-based payment and settlement systems within the Circle ecosystem and for transaction stability. He added that it has secured a distinct business position that allows it to immediately execute CPN-based cross-border settlement services.

Kim also said 2026 is expected to be the first year in which Hecto Financial's corporate value is fully re-rated and that an issue related to provisions tied to mobile phone payments that had weighed on profitability is expected to normalise. He said rising revenue from domestic simple cash services and overseas settlement services would lead earnings higher, and that if domestic legislation for virtual assets is completed, the pace of business expansion for Hecto Financial, which has already secured global standard infrastructure, would accelerate further.

A Hecto Financial official said at a corporate briefing on Sunday that it has secured market dominance that can widen time and technology gaps with latecomers by pre-emptively building network effects, including joining CPN, in the early phase in which stablecoin payments and settlement are becoming a global standard. The official said the company will expand new corporate customers based on corporate credibility in line with global standards and references accumulated abroad, and will build a "virtuous" structure in which transaction volume increases on the back of an expanded customer base.
