Nigel Farage (나이절 패라지), leader of Britain's Reform UK, has made a strategic investment in bitcoin firm Stack BTC, The Block reported on March 9.
Stack BTC completed a share funding round worth 260,000 pounds ($347,000), with Farage and Blockchain.com participating as investors. Farage secured a 6.3 percent stake through his investment company.
Stack BTC plans to use the funds to accumulate bitcoin and acquire profitable businesses.
Stack BTC recently bought 21 bitcoin at an average price of $71,594. Kwasi Kwarteng (콰시 콰텡), Britain's former finance minister, serves as chairman and holds a 5.43 percent stake in the company.
