Devsisters saw its operating profit fall sharply last year despite revenue growth.

Devsisters said on Sunday it posted full-year 2025 revenue of 294.7 billion won, operating profit of 6.2 billion won and net profit of 15.4 billion won. Revenue rose 25 percent from a year earlier, while operating profit fell 77 percent.

Revenue growth was driven by higher earnings from its core title CookieRun: Kingdom and the successful entry of the CookieRun card game into North America. CookieRun: Kingdom’s revenue more than doubled from a year earlier. Overseas revenue also rose 59 percent, lifting its share of total revenue to 72 percent.

Profitability deteriorated, however. In the fourth quarter, the company posted revenue of 58.7 billion won and an operating loss of 12.6 billion won. The company said losses widened due to cultural expansion of its intellectual property, higher marketing costs for CookieRun: Kingdom’s fifth anniversary and rising labour costs for new project development.

Devsisters set “expansion” and “evolution” as this year’s keywords as it seeks a rebound in results.

It will officially launch the real-time battle action game “CookieRun OvenSmash” in the global market at the end of March. In the second half, it plans to unveil a new casual title, “Project CC”. It will also strengthen its new title lineup, including “Project N”, which it aims to reveal in 2029.

It will continue to expand its IP. The company plans to fully activate the CookieRun universe by linking game storylines and to strengthen its global fandom through offline fan festivals and pop-up stores.

The company said it plans to continue investing for future growth, including new title development and expanding its IP business. It said it aims to secure a solid foundation for growth centred on expansion and evolution and to make CookieRun a global “super IP”.
