Line Games said on Feb. 9 that its self-developed premium survivor-like game "Ember and Blade" was selected as an Epic Games Store "2026 most anticipated title".

The selection is the result of the Epic Games Store choosing 20 new titles on the platform expected to post strong results this year. "Ember and Blade" made the list alongside major domestic and overseas titles including Capcom's "Biohazard Requiem", Pearl Abyss' "Crimson Desert" and Netmarble's "Seven Knights Re:Birth".

The game ranked No. 1 in the popular demo category when it launched on the Epic Games Store in October last year.

"Ember and Blade" blends elements of the survivor and soulslike genres. The game follows an immortal demon hunter, Fenrix Haven, as he faces a greater demon. It features restrained colouring and a high degree of freedom in build crafting.

A Line Games official said, "This is an achievement that shows global gamers are paying attention to its genre completeness and potential," and added, "We will raise the level of completion based on user feedback and meet expectations."

The game currently offers a demo on the Epic Games Store and Steam. Line Games is aiming for a full release within the year and is also positively reviewing a launch on console platforms.
