Lam Research Manufacturing Korea said on Thursday it will hire about 100 manufacturing operations technicians to assemble and test semiconductor equipment.

The hiring follows Lam Research’s procurement in South Korea surpassing 1 trillion won last year. The company said it is a step to strengthen manufacturing activity in South Korea this year and a long-term investment.

Applicants must be high school graduates or above. Both entry-level and experienced candidates can apply. Preference will be given to those with knowledge or hands-on experience in semiconductor equipment manufacturing, assembly or testing. The hiring process consists of document screening and in-person interviews. Applications close at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 12. Applicants can apply through a JobKorea posting.

Successful candidates will strengthen practical capabilities through Lam Research’s structured training program. The company will also provide an in-house learning framework and on-the-job mentoring from technicians with extensive field experience.

Lam Research is a global company in the wafer manufacturing equipment sector. A Lam Research Korea official described the hiring as “a key milestone showing Lam Research’s long-term investment in South Korea’s semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem.”
