With XRP continuing a weak trend, asset manager 21Shares posted a message asking Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence model Grok for a 2026 XRP price outlook. Grok did not offer any notable response, drawing market attention.
On Jan. 29 local time, blockchain media outlet The Crypto Basic reported that Grok responded to outlooks for bitcoin (BTC) and ethereum (ETH) prices but stayed silent on XRP.
Grok predicted bitcoin could reach $250,000 this year and, in the worst case, could fall to $75,000. For ethereum, it referred to a range of outlooks of $3,900 to $62,000 for 2026.
In its responses, Grok referred to observations by Tom Lee (톰 리), who leads BitMine, on the bitcoin outlook. It also cited ETF inflows and market trends and added that the forecast range could be wide. For ethereum, it cited figures from CoinCodex and Changelly.
But it did not respond at all to the XRP question, deepening the community’s doubts. One user pointed out: "Grok answers bitcoin and ethereum predictions, so why does it avoid only XRP?"
What is notable is that Grok has made a strong forecast about XRP prices in the past. Earlier this month, Grok predicted XRP could reach $10 in 2026. When one user taunted that they would bet $100 in bitcoin if XRP did not reach $10, Grok accepted the condition.
Some in the market interpret Grok’s silence itself as a message. When an AI model avoids answering about a specific asset, factors such as data reliability, limits on answer accuracy, and policy or sensitivity can have an impact. Still, because it provided figures and rationale for BTC and ETH in the same post, the lack of response on XRP appears to be fueling community questions further.
XRP is now drawing attention amid expectations of an ETF, broader adoption and regulatory changes. If XRP reaches $10, its market capitalisation would exceed $600 billion, surpassing Mastercard and Bank of America (BoA). The reason for Grok’s silence has not been disclosed, but interest in XRP continues to grow.
The market says the key is not whether there is a short-term rebound, but whether a recovery in trading volume and inflows of buying continue. Others point out that a cautious approach is needed until the trend is confirmed, given the high-volatility phase.
Hey @grok XRP price in 2026?
