Samsung SDS announced preliminary 2025 results on Wednesday, reporting revenue of 13.93 trillion won and operating profit of 957.1 billion won. Revenue rose 0.7 percent from a year earlier and operating profit increased 5.0 percent. Fourth-quarter revenue fell 2.9 percent from a year earlier to 3.54 trillion won, while operating profit rose 6.9 percent to 226.1 billion won.

By business area, annual revenue in the IT services division rose 2.2 percent from a year earlier to 6.54 trillion won. Cloud business revenue grew 15.4 percent to 2.68 trillion won.

Within the cloud business, the CSP segment was driven by higher use of SCP (Samsung Cloud Platform) and GPUaaS as generative AI services expanded, along with an expansion of high-performance computing (HPC) services and cloud network services. In the MSP segment, revenue gains were led by cloud migration in the financial sector, winning generative AI service deals in the public sector, and expanding businesses based on global solutions such as ERP and SCM.

In the logistics division, annual revenue fell 0.5 percent to 7.39 trillion won as declining ocean freight rates continued, while operating profit dropped 6.2 percent to 130.0 billion won. Samsung SDS said Cello Square, its digital logistics platform, had a 27 percent rise in registered customers from a year earlier, with 24,625 companies using the service as of the end of 2025.

Samsung SDS plans to continue expanding its AI and cloud businesses and strengthen competitiveness based on its 'AI full stack' capabilities spanning AI infrastructure, platforms and solutions. In AI infrastructure, it plans to launch a GPUaaS product based on Nvidia's latest B300 as demand for GPUs and data centres increases, and to 추진 a DBO business with high scalability.

It will focus on building public-sector DR (Disaster Recovery) based on its Daegu centre and provide industry-specific services to bolster SCP competitiveness. In the AI platform area, it plans to support corporate customers in adopting and expanding generative AI across various industries, based on its ChatGPT Enterprise reseller partnership agreement with OpenAI signed in December, the first such deal by a South Korean company.

In the AI solutions area, it plans to continue expanding to 57 central government ministries the collaboration solution Brity Works and the generative AI service Brity Copilot, which it has been providing since November through a pilot service to three agencies including the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, the Ministry of Science and ICT, and the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety.

In its logistics business, it will strengthen air cargo and contract logistics, while applying AI-based automation technology to operational tasks and warehouse management.
