[DigitalToday reporter Jinju Hong] Altcoin Daily, a popular cryptocurrency YouTube channel, recently presented a strongly optimistic view on major cryptocurrencies and urged investors to accumulate them.

On March 3 (local time), blockchain outlet The Crypto Basic reported that as geopolitical tensions in the Middle East intensified, market volatility increased, but Altcoin Daily argued this should instead be seen as a long-term investment opportunity. Through its X (formerly Twitter) account with more than 2 million followers, the channel recommended buying Bitcoin and Ethereum as well as major altcoins including XRP, Solana, Binance Coin, Cardano and Chainlink.

Earlier, the market plunged as military tensions flared after reports of the death of Iran supreme leader Ali Khamenei (Ali Khamenei). At the time, Bitcoin fell to $63,400, Ethereum to $1,840, XRP to $1.27 and Solana to $77. After that, a brief correction followed comments by U.S. President Donald Trump mentioning the possibility of additional military action, but the market soon rebounded sharply.

Bitcoin surged from the $65,000 range to the $70,000 level, while Ethereum recovered to $2,080 and XRP to around $1.41. Analysts view liquidations of leveraged positions and a short squeeze as having triggered the rebound, and say easing outflows from cryptocurrency funds also affected the inflow of buying.

Altcoin Daily said the rebound reinforced a narrative that cryptocurrencies can serve as a hedge against macroeconomic and geopolitical uncertainty.

Long-term optimism in the industry is also continuing. Robert Kiyosaki (로버트 기요사키), author of Rich Dad Poor Dad, forecast that Bitcoin could post an "explosive rise" similar to gold's surge. Charles Hoskinson (찰스 호스킨슨), founder of Cardano, also said, "The best days of the crypto market have not yet come," and Arthur Hayes (아서 헤이즈) argued that if the Iran conflict becomes prolonged, expanded monetary easing could work positively for Bitcoin.

Some analysts, however, warn the market remains in a bearish phase. With volatility persisting, they say investors need a cautious approach and thorough risk management.
