Perpetual.com (PDC), led by former FTX EU founders, has unveiled an AI-based derivatives trading platform, CoinDesk reported on Tuesday.
Perpetual.com is a platform designed to operate under regulation, featuring 24-hour automated liquidations and blockchain-based settlement technology. Development was led by Patrick Gruhn (패트릭 그룬) and Robin Matzke (로빈 매츠케), who co-founded Digital Assets, a Zurich-based digital asset company.
Sam Bankman-Fried acquired Digital Assets in 2021 and rebranded it as FTX EU. It later recovered FTX EU’s remaining assets through parent-company bankruptcy proceedings and used them to develop Perpetual.com, which was unveiled this week.
Perpetual.com was developed by analysing data from more than 10 million trades, CoinDesk said. It aims to address problems in the CFD and perpetual futures markets and protect retail investors.
