Nexon will decorate Lotte World Adventure in Jamsil with its flagship intellectual property, MapleStory, and hold a large spring-season festival.

On March 3, Nexon said it will hold a large spring-season festival titled "MapleStory in Lotte World" at Lotte World Adventure in Jamsil, Songpa-gu, Seoul, from March 14 in collaboration with Lotte World, using the MapleStory IP.

The collaboration will run for about 3 months from March 14 to June 14, ahead of the official opening of "Maple Island" in April, filling Lotte World Adventure with the MapleStory universe. It is built around a concept in which the boss monster "Pink Bean" disappears through a suspicious portal, and the world of MapleStory unfolds across the park through mysterious power, prompting the gathering of heroes to resolve it. Visitors can enjoy a variety of missions.

In the indoor "Hero Recruitment Zone," Lotte World Adventure will set up an experience area where visitors can summon or customize their character via a QR code, as well as a "Find the Missing Pink Bean!" photo zone. The outdoor Magic Island area will recreate popular regions such as "Henesys" and "Arcana" and screen seasonal castle mapping themed around the Magic Castle at night. Inside the Magic Castle, it will offer experience spaces including retro games and photo zones. In April, it will add characters and dancers to the parade lineup and introduce a photo time segment.

It will also unveil special merchandise and food and beverage items available only during the collaboration period. Items such as headbands, stuffed dolls and key rings will be released sequentially, and it will launch "Orange Mushroom" cheese bread, "Slime" cream mochi, and drinks called "Red Potion" and "Blue Potion." It will also sell package products consisting of an all-inclusive pass and a buff light-emitting diode (LED) magnet.

Nexon will also officially open "Maple Island" in April, a roughly 600-pyeong space in Magic Island, an outdoor zone at Lotte World Adventure. It plans to introduce 3 new attractions including the Family Roller Coaster, along with a gift shop, food and beverage outlets and photo zones.
