[DigitalToday reporter Chi-gyu Hwang] Blockchain investigator ZachXBT alleged insider trading involving employees at cryptocurrency trading platform Axiom.
He said some Axiom employees, including senior business development staff member Brooks Bauer (Broox Bauer) who works in New York, have exploited weaknesses in an internal tool without access controls since early 2025.
They used it to view sensitive user information and track personal wallet activity for internal trading. In an audio recording, Brooks said anyone can track any Axiom user with only a referral code, wallet address and user identification number (UID).
Brooks repeatedly shared screenshots of several traders' internal dashboards with outsiders from April 2025. ZachXBT said Axiom employees, including Brooks, compiled major influencers' personal wallet addresses in a spreadsheet and made profits by learning in advance about position-building information before they issued public referrals.
