Scroll, an Ethereum layer-2 network, reaffirmed its plan to switch to a permissioned network.
Scroll recently posted a summary of the DAO monthly meeting on social media platform X (Twitter) and explained the plan to move to a permissioned network.
It also disclosed a plan to move SCR and USX to the Ethereum mainnet. Scroll plans to submit a detailed proposal later and review the network transition through governance procedures.
Scroll will also provide a site during the transition period where users can check their existing positions and safely move or withdraw assets.
Scroll previously said on its official forum in September that it would change its general-purpose network used by anyone into a dedicated network centered on the AI app Compass.
Scroll has started a paid subscription service for the Compass AI app on iOS. The Android version is still under development. It also plans to expand payment methods in fiat currencies, including Scroll dollars.
