Cardano (ADA) may return to an upward trend within 7 to 10 days, a forecast said.

The Crypto Basic, a blockchain media outlet, reported on Oct. 14 that Sheldon, an analyst at cryptocurrency analysis firm Crypto Banter, pointed to a short-term rebound potential, saying there is a clear buying zone on the ADA chart.

Sheldon said Cardano's current weakness is unlikely to last long. He said several cryptocurrencies, including ADA, could move in a range for about 1 to 2 weeks before turning to a sharp rise. He added that the buying area in Cardano is very clearly visible and that once the current phase ends, the market will return to an uptrend.

Market momentum has not fully turned. ADA was trading around $0.2289 and is down about 10 percent over the past week, but is up about 9 percent over the past month. ADA rebounded to $0.2813 last week before quickly giving up gains, and is now testing support near $0.23.

Sheldon said the recovery timeline could be brought forward if the market falls once more and quickly reaches the buying zone he identified. He did not present a specific target price for ADA or an exact buying range.

The forecast is based on an interpretation that the recent decline is an accumulation phase rather than a breakdown in trend. Whether ADA sees a short-term rebound depends on whether buying demand actually continues and whether the broader cryptocurrency market emerges from weakness. Sheldon predicted many tokens would remain in the current zone for another 1 to 2 weeks before making a large move.

Separate analysis also pointed to expectations for a longer-term recovery. George (조지) of CryptoUS argued that Cardano could follow a path similar to Solana. George said ADA has repeatedly suffered steep declines during past "crypto winter" periods before recovering, and assessed that Charles Hoskinson's continued involvement supports the project's long-term resilience.

Solana, cited as a comparison, fell to about $8.14 after the 2022 FTX collapse, then rose above $125 in 2023 and hit a record high of about $294 in January 2025. ADA, however, is currently at $0.2346, still far below its past high of about $3.10.

Market attention is therefore focused on whether ADA can stabilise around $0.23 in the short term and sustain buying interest. Sheldon stressed a near-term buying zone and an imminent rebound timeline, while George placed more weight on the potential for a longer-term recovery. Both views cited the possibility of a Cardano rebound, but the actual path is expected to depend on how long demand persists in upcoming trading ranges.
