A technical analysis has suggested XRP could rise as high as the $27 range. It also set out defending a long-term support line around 2027 as a prerequisite.
The Crypto Basic, a blockchain outlet, reported on Oct. 6 that Fibonacci extension zones on XRP's long-term chart stood at $8.33, $13.51 and $27.03. It is a conditional upside scenario that assumes the current chart structure remains intact.
The focus is a long-term triangle consolidation formed after the 2018 peak. XRP is in a correction after a 2025 rally, and the gap between the downward resistance line and the upward support line is narrowing toward 2027. Whether support holds in that period could split the trend over the coming years.
A chart from 2014 to 2017 was cited for comparison. At the time, XRP entered a triangle consolidation near $0.03 and over about 3 years showed lower highs while the support line rose gradually. It then retested the $0.005 to $0.006 range near the end of the consolidation in early 2017 before breaking above the upper boundary and moving higher.
Fibonacci extension prices marked on that chart were $0.13554 in the 1.272 zone, $0.20895 in the 1.414 zone and $0.38910 in the 1.618 zone. XRP later surpassed all of those levels and rose above $2 before reaching the cycle peak in early 2018.
Extension prices presented on the current long-term chart are $8.33, $13.51 and $27.03. Those levels are about 502 percent, 876 percent and 1,853 percent above the reference price of $1.3838, respectively.
A similar consolidation structure has appeared on the current chart, and the $0.75 to $1.05 range around 2027 was cited as a key support retest zone. It said securing support in that range could also open an upward path toward higher prices. It added that a similar chart pattern in the past does not guarantee a repeat of the same upward move.
The immediate focus is on defending long-term support rather than on reaching $27. Confirming support in the $0.75 to $1.05 range around 2027 and then clearing resistance levels in turn is expected to be a condition for a long-term rebound.
