Distributed AI cloud company AIEEV said on Tuesday the number of organisations using its Air Cloud platform has exceeded 300.

The company said Air Cloud is a cloud platform that links GPU resources distributed across multiple regions to support the development and operation of AI models and services.

It said the core idea is to provide AI infrastructure by using existing GPU resources rather than building new data centres.

AIEEV said it has validated the platform’s usability through operating experience and usage results accumulated across various environments. It said it has moved beyond initial validation and entered a full-scale business expansion stage. It plans to broaden its domestic customer base and upgrade the platform in line with demand for actual service operations.

It is also running a Partner Onboarding Programme to expand its supply base. The company is discussing a collaboration model that links resources from individuals and companies and institutions that hold idle GPU equipment with Air Cloud’s distributed infrastructure. It said equipment owners can seek opportunities to use underutilised GPUs, while AIEEV aims to expand its resource base to respond to growing demand for AI services.
