Coupang's cumulative sales from companies taking part in a Gyeongsangbuk-do agri-food promotion run under its "Good Stores" programme, operated in cooperation with the Gyeongsangbuk-do Institute for Agricultural Food Distribution Education and Promotion, have surpassed 34 billion won.

Coupang said on Tuesday it has run the Gyeongbuk agri-food promotion at "Good Stores", a dedicated section for shared growth with small merchants, since 2022.

Companies participating through the Gyeongbuk Agri-Food Promotion Institute posted cumulative sales of 34 billion won from 2022 to 2025. Over the same period, about 110 companies took part and sold about 1,200 agri-food products.

The Gyeongbuk Agri-Food Promotion Institute supports farmer education, expansion of sales channels for agricultural food products and stronger distribution competitiveness. Coupang supports participating companies with online sales, marketing and promotion.

"Good Stores" is a dedicated section for shared growth aimed at expanding digital sales channels for rural regions and small merchants. It sells regional products ranging from local specialties such as laver, persimmons and gwamegi to food and industrial goods.

In addition to its cooperation project with the Gyeongbuk Agri-Food Promotion Institute, Coupang also supports sales of agricultural and fisheries products and household goods by small merchants in the Gyeongbuk region.

Ahead of Chuseok, it is also running a "Gyeongbuk Excellent Forest Products Promotion" and a "Gyeongbuk Agricultural Specialty Products Promotion".

A Coupang official said, "Through Good Stores, we will expand online sales channels for regional products including Gyeongbuk and support the growth of local small merchants."
