Com2uS has confirmed the official title of its upcoming console and PC game based on the animation 'Gachiakuta' as 'Gachiakuta: Breakout' and released its first gameplay footage.

Com2uS said on Sept. 18 it unveiled a gameplay trailer for 'Gachiakuta: Breakout' at the Tokyo Game Show 2026 (TGS 2026) Xbox showcase.

Com2uS announced at the event the official name of the game it has previously introduced under the working title 'Gachiakuta: The Game'.

'Gachiakuta: Breakout' is a survival action role-playing game in development based on the intellectual property (IP) of the animation 'Gachiakuta'. It is bringing cartoon-style graphics, the original art style and character-specific action to console and PC platforms.

The video features key characters including Rudo, Engine, Zanka and Riyou using their own weapons and combat styles.

The footage also shows, for the first time, a boss battle in which players directly control Zanka to face off against Java. Combat unfolds as players dodge attacks and exploit openings, showing a direction that demands quick judgment and control.

Com2uS also launched an official brand website alongside the gameplay video release.

'Gachiakuta: Breakout' is expected to launch globally in 2027 on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and Steam. Further development news and key information will be released sequentially through the official brand site, social media and a YouTube channel.
