XRP long-term investors should watch Sept. 29 for XRPL batch upgrade
XRP Ledger\'s batch (XLS-56) upgrade has passed its activation threshold, entering a 14-day countdown after receiving 82.86 percent support in validator voting. Under XRPL rules, if the level is maintained for two weeks, the upgrade will be applied automatically at 1406 UTC on Sept. 29. The change adds support for batching up to eight users\' transactions into a single package with all-or-nothing execution, enabling atomic settlement and other uses.
