Samsung Electro-Mechanics signs 1.5 trillion won silicon capacitor supply deal
Samsung Electro-Mechanics said on Tuesday it signed a long-term silicon capacitor supply agreement with a large global company. The contract is worth about 1.5 trillion won and covers a two-year supply period from Jan. 1, 2027 to Dec. 31, 2028. The company said silicon capacitors are key components used in high-performance semiconductor packages for AI servers, helping stabilise power supply and reduce signal loss.
