How to respond to AI-driven security threats? Tech firms expand alliance
Debate is intensifying over how to respond to new security threats emerging from the spread of AI, with alliances expanding beyond security firms to include semiconductor and platform companies. Nvidia-led Open Secure AI Alliance formed a first working group and released proposals for confidential reporting and post-incident analysis. Hugging Face CEO Clem Delangue called for mandatory disclosure of hacks targeting AI firms. Reports and tests also raised concerns about AI misuse, vulnerabilities and faster exploitation.

Palo Alto Networks to acquire Portkey to strengthen AI agent security platform
Palo Alto Networks will acquire AI gateway startup Portkey as it seeks to bolster its security platform for AI agents. Portkey provides a central control platform to manage and protect autonomous AI agents. It currently processes tokens on a monthly scale of several trillion and supports low-latency communication between agents. After the deal closes, Palo Alto Networks plans to integrate Portkey into its Prisma AIRS AI runtime security platform as its AI gateway.

MegazoneCloud partners with Check Point to push into AI and cloud security
MegazoneCloud said on March 26 it signed an official strategic partnership with global cybersecurity firm Check Point Software to target AI-native and cloud security markets. The companies plan to provide Lakera platform-based AI LLM model guardrails, AI red team application security consulting and operations services, and build a continuous threat exposure management system across cloud infrastructure. They also plan to offer tailored security architecture design and 24/7 monitoring and intelligent threat response services.
