U.S. considers additional curbs on China-made robots in response to rare earth controls

The United States has begun reviewing possible restrictions on imports of China-made robots, broadening U.S.-China technology competition into robotics and physical AI, the article said. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said he was examining imports backed by Chinese government support and could act once the review ends. Krafton CEO Kim Chang-han meets AWS CEO to discuss physical AI cooperation

Krafton CEO Kim Chang-han (김창한) visited Amazon Web Services\' headquarters in Seattle and met AWS CEO Matt Garman (맷 가먼) and other senior executives, Krafton disclosed on LinkedIn. The companies discussed Krafton\'s AI vision and how AWS cloud and AI infrastructure could support its technology development, including expanding humanoid robotics and AI and simulation capabilities into the real world.
