Tesla says Roadster delivery not guaranteed for reservation holders
Tesla has specified to next-generation Roadster reservation holders that it cannot guarantee when the car will be delivered or whether it will be delivered at all. The company says the Roadster is still under development and that a reservation is not a confirmed order. Buyers may pay up to $250,000 up front but receive only an approximate place in line if mass production begins. Price, options and specifications remain subject to change, with a target launch in 2028.
